Jasmin Garcia-Verdin
Inspired by my love of the past, nature, and fashion, I'm a latinx illustrator with a passion for storytelling. I make warm and whimsical illustrations with an organic, hand-drawn touch for projects in publishing and animation.
I have an online store and I'm currently working on personal projects, like my ongoing sci-fi webcomic, Spacewarriors, and Girl-Knight, a graphic novel series that takes place in medieval France. I have had one piece recognized by the Society of Illustrators LA with another honorably mentioned by 3 x 3.
I've lived in Mexico and New Jersey, and currently reside in Los Angeles. I majored in History, with minors in Business and Design, and have worked in all of those fields (including a museum!) In my free time I love to write fiction and film vlogs for my Youtube channel.
Spacewarriors, my ongoing scifi webcomic. Part 1, out of 3, is available to read for free here. I'm currently writing the script for the last part and drawing part 2.
Girl-Knight, my medieval comic project in the works.

"Jasmin is the perfect artist to work with. Professional and wildly creative. I am so grateful to her for creating a beautiful cover to my book and gorgeous interior pages too. She went above and beyond and I can't wait to work with her again...[she] is an absolute dream to work with. Very communicative, articulate, and passionate. She offered me various designs and versions and made the process more like a dance than a deadline (and my deadline was tough). I look forward to working with her again and would recommend her very highly."
-Chantel C. Lucier, author of Something New Every Day
"This is the third time I have worked with Jasmin and she is so talented! Not only does she communicate regularly but she is always concerned with the satisfaction of the client. Her skills are excellent and I look forward to working with her again!"
